MEET THE TEAM

ALAN FAINMAN

Alan a Bcom(Accounting) graduate from Wits joined Bidvest in 1996 as part of the sale of First Garment Rental to Bidvest which was his family’s business. Appointed as the CEO of the Group’s Laundry Division in 1998. Appointed as the CEO of Steiner in 2009, Divisional CEO of the Rental and Products Division in 2011 and Divisional CEO of Bidvest Services in 2015. He is a Director of numerous Bidvest subsidiaries in SA, Ireland and UK. Also Chairman of the Bidvest Wits Football Club.

TREVOR SCRUSE

Trevor joined Bidvest in February 1991 and has held various financial positions throughout his career in Bidvest. During 1991 to 2007 he served in the Food division with his final position that of Financial Director of Cater Plus. Since September 2007 he has served as CFO of Steiner Hygiene, Bidvest Rental & Products and is currently the CFO of the Services Division. He is a director of Bidvest Services ROI and Bidvest Services UK and an alternate director on Bidvest Services Group UK.

RIKA VAN ROOYEN

Rika joined Bidvest Steiner in 2002, and was appointed as the Sales & Marketing Director. In 2017 she was promoted as Business Development Executive for the Bidvest Services Division. Rika graduated from the Executive Development Programme in 2015 through Bidvest at the Gordon Institute of Business Science. Rika achieved the Chairman’s Award for Excellence Service twice. Rika is a member of the Bidvest Services Board, as well as the various clusters.
